Week 6 was good around the B1G with some key battles and intense action throughout.

The biggest showdowns of the weekend came in Michigan vs. Nebraska and Penn State vs. Iowa. In Iowa City, the Hawkeyes recorded 4 takeaways and battled back for the comeback win. In Lincoln, the Wolverines snuck away with a win after a late turnover by the Huskers.

Michigan State also beat Rutgers with a 200-yard performance from running back Kenneth Walker III. That included a record-breaking touchdown run from 94 yards out.

On Sunday, PFF handed out their Team of the Week with 5 B1g stars included:

  • RB: Kenneth Walker III, Michigan State
  • C: Tyler Linderbaum, Iowa
  • Edge: Aidan Hutchinson, Michigan
  • CB: Matt Hankins, Iowa
  • S: Brad Hawkins, Michigan

From that group, Hutchinson earned Defensive Player of the Week honors for his work against the Huskers. Hutchinson graded out at 92.7 against Nebraska with 8 pressures. He was also effective against the rush as his streak of dominance continues.
