Michigan State rolled to a 31-13 win in New Jersey over the weekend, and big plays were the theme of the game for the Spartans.

Wide receiver Jalen Nailor stole the show in the first half with 3 huge touchdowns. Each touchdown covered 60+ yards as he broke a Rutgers stadium record before halftime.

Kenneth Walker III got in on the big play action in the second half. He rolled 94 yards for a touchdown and a Michigan State record in the process.

When it was all said and done, Michigan State finished the game with a 300-yard passer in QB Payton Thorne, a 200-yard rusher in Walker, and a 200-yard receiver in Nailor. That makes the Spartans 1 of 5 teams all-time to have a trio reach those marks in the same game.

That trio – along with all-purpose magician Jayden Reed – has been a big part of Michigan State’s 6-0 start. The Spartans will hope for more big numbers against Indiana in Week 7.
