Another Sunday morning means College GameDay’s Kirk Herbstreit releasing his top 6 schools following the latest slate of games.

Herbstreit has Georgia at No. 1 which should come as no surprise. The Bulldogs showed why they’re the top team in the country as they blew out Kentucky 30-13 in Athens.

Oklahoma, Alabama, and Cincinnati round out the top 4 as the Sooners have looked like a completely different team since quarterback Caleb Williams took over. He had 4 more touchdown passes in the Sooners 52-21 victory over TCU.

Alabama had this Saturday off but even at 1 loss, they’re still a College Football Playoff team. Cincinnati is also continuing to fly high after its win against UCF got the team to 7-0.

After those 4 teams, Herbstreit has Ohio State at No. 5 and Michigan at No. 6. The Buckeyes may have 1 loss (Oregon), but they’ve been lights out since that and control their own destiny for the rest of the season.

The Wolverines also control their own destiny as they’re 6-0, but will be tested heavily down the stretch against OSU, Penn State, and Michigan State.
