Maryland releases hype video with major showdown vs. Minnesota on the horizon

Maryland is coming off of a bye week after getting trounced by No. 5 Ohio State 66-17 and No. 11 Iowa 51-14 in consecutive weeks.

The Terrapins are 4-2 and 1-2 in B1G play. They have wins over West Virginia, Howard, Illinois and Kent State. Their 2 losses are against No. 5 Ohio State and No. 11 Iowa.

The Terrapins released a hype video ahead of today’s game against Minnesota.

Last season the Terrapins beat the the Gophers in a 45-44 OT thriller in College Park, MD.

The Terrapins still have to play 3 teams in the top 10 of the AP Top-25 poll.

They play all 3 teams 3 weeks in a row. Those opponents are  vs. No 7 Penn State, at No. 9 Michigan State and home against No. 6 Michigan.

The Gophers this season are 4-2 and 2-1 in B1G play. The Gophers have wins over Miami (OH), Colorado, Purdue and Nebraska. Their 2 losses are against No. 5 Ohio State and Bowling Green.

The Gophers only have 1 AP Top -25 opponent left on the schedule when they travel to Iowa City, IA., for a showdown with No. 11 Iowa.

Maryland takes on Minnesota in Minneapolis, MN at 3:30 ET on ESPN2.
