Right now, Illinois is hanging tough with No. 7 Penn State as it is 10-7 at the half.

Illinois’ running game is part of the reason they have kept it close with the Nittany Lions.

RB Chase Brown has had an excellent first half; he has 17 carries for 134 yards on 7.9 yards per carry, a long of 27  and a touchdown on the day.
