Micah McFadden says loss to OSU ‘start of a completely new season’ for IU

This is not the season many Indiana fans envisioned, with the Hoosiers getting blown out at home by Ohio State in Week 8. It dropped Indiana to 2-5 on the season with Tom Allen’s squad still winless in B1G play.
The game against the Buckeyes started well enough with Indiana answering the opening score with a quick touchdown of its own. Unfortunately, Jack Tuttle – starting in place of the injured Michael Penix Jr. – was banged up on that touchdown. The Hoosiers would play 2 more QBs in place of Tuttle before he could return.
In the end, it was Ohio State’s explosive offense that continued its streak of 50-point showings in the blowout. After the game, linebacker Micah McFadden discussed the disappointing run.
According to McFadden, the Hoosiers are focused on flushing things and starting a brand new season down the stretch:
Micah McFadden on moving past tonight: “We’ve got to flush this. This is the start of a completely new season for the Hoosiers.” #iufb
