The Week 9 SP+ rankings have been released and the B1G is well represented, especially in the top 25.
Up first is No. 1 Ohio State which shouldn’t be a surprise. The Buckeyes got to 6-1 after their win against the Hoosiers on Saturday and now they’ll have to run the gauntlet the rest of the way.
There are 3 other teams in the top 10 and it starts with Wisconsin at No. 6. The Badgers got to 4-3 after their upset against Purdue on Saturday in a game that wasn’t close after halftime.
Wisconsin outscored Purdue 17-0 in the 2nd half after quarterback Aidan O’Connell struggled mightily.
Michigan is at No. 7 while Penn State is at No. 10, despite the latter falling at home to Illinois in 9 overtimes.
Here is the full list of B1G teams in the SP+ Top 25:
- 1. Ohio State
- 6. Wisconsin
- 7. Michigan
- 10. Penn State
- 19. Iowa
- 20. Nebraska

We’ll have to see how this changes going into Week 10.
