College football has been crazy this year. It has a chance to get even crazier if a new team reaches the College Football Playoff for the first time.
Paul Finebaum joined McElroy and Cubelic in the Morning to talk about the teams he thinks could have a chance at reaching the playoff for the first time in school history. Finebaum believes Michigan has a real shot of making it from the Big Ten.

“Well, I think it depends on Jim Harbaugh,” said Finebaum. “He is certainly in the best position to crack open a new spot in the College Football Playoff. His first of a three-pronged Ouija board starts this weekend.”
This would be the first time that a team from the Big Ten other than Ohio State or Michigan State has made the Playoff.
No. 6 Michigan will need to win the remaining games on its schedule to make it possible, including Harbaugh’s first win against Ohio State since taking the job and a Big Ten championship win as well.
Can Harbaugh pull it off?
