It’s almost time for one of the biggest games on the B1G schedule.

No. 6 Michigan and No. 8 Michigan State are getting set for a showdown unlike any they’ve ever seen before. It’s the first time the two teams will face off while undefeated — adding that much more intrigue to the rivalry game.

This game is always a big one, but it’s even more important to the picture of the B1G East. That’s why Wolverines coach Jim Harbaugh is looking at it as an “elimination” game.

It’s going to be strength vs. strength Saturday at Spartan Stadium. Michigan State running back Kenneth Walker III is one of the best rushers in college football, leading the B1G with 142.4 rush yards per game. But Michigan has its own RB tandem, led by Blake Corum, who ranks 3rd in the B1G with 104.1 yards per contest. Hassan Haskins is also in the top 10 rushers in the league with 86 yards per game.

Get ready. This has the makings of a Michigan-Michigan State game for the ages.
