It’s never too early to start thinking about the 2022 NFL Draft, and that’s especially the case with draft analyst Todd McShay.
He released his top 5 NFL Draft rankings even though there’s still a lot of football left to be played and it should come as no surprise that Aidan Hutchinson is featured.
Hutchinson comes in at No. 5, directly behind Kayvon Thibodeaux, Derek Stingley Jr., Evan Neal, and Kyle Hamilton.

Hutchinson has been a monster for the Wolverines this season as he’s racked up 27 total tackles (17 solo), 5 sacks, 1 forced fumble, 1 fumble recovery, and 1 pass defended. He does it all on their defense and is the main reason why it’s so good on a weekly basis.
He’s also been able to stay relatively healthy this season after battling some injuries last year.
Hutchinson will need to be able to have a strong finish in order to make sure he’s picked in the top 5. His first test starts with rival Michigan State this Saturday at Noon ET.
