Pro Football Focus released its rankings for the teams that have the highest chances of making the college football playoff.

Two teams from Ohio ended being tied for the fourth highest chance of making the playoff. No. 2 Cincinnati (7-0) and No. 5 Ohio State (6-1)  both have a 47% chance of making it, according to PFF’s power rankings.

The Bearcats and Buckeyes would obviously have to win out for either of them to make the playoff.

No. 2 Cincinnati still has make it through its American Athletic Conference schedule against the likes of Tulane, Tulsa, USF, No. 19 SMU and ECU for its first ever trip to the playoff.

No. 5 Ohio State’s remaining schedule is as follows: No. 20 Penn State, Nebraska, Purdue, and both No. 8 Michigan State and No. 6 Michigan.

Then, both teams would also have to win both of their conference championships as well.

Ohio State and Michigan State are the only teams from the B1G that have made the College Football Playoff. Can the Buckeyes make it once more, or will Cincinnati make history?
