Minnesota preparing to 'beat the B1G West champs' this weekend
Minnesota is taking aim at Northwestern. The Golden Gophers finished last season with a 3-4 record, finishing fourth in the B1G West.
Now, they have to dethrone the reigning division champs, who finished with a 7-2 record in 2020.
It seems like the coaches have their players locked in for this matchup, and have a made it known that they have to go through the Wildcats if they want to take home the division title this year.

This year, the script has flipped. The Golden Gophers are making a push for the lead in the B1G West, while Northwestern is struggling so far.
