Here’s what Ryan Day said on his radio show ahead of showdown with Penn State

The last few years, Ohio State and Penn State have garnered a lot of respect for each other. Although the series has been one-sided the past four seasons, both teams know what the other is bringing to the table.

No. 5 Ohio State (6-1)  has looked like a very different team after losing to Oregon in Columbus in Week 2, winning five in a row. The Buckeyes have also allowed just under 20 points on defense during this period.

No. 20 Penn State (5-2)  is looking to regain its footing after losing its last two games to Iowa and Illinois. Despite the losses, the defense has been a constant for the Nittany Lions, not allowing more than 20 points on defense all year.

Sean Clifford should be available for this game, which could be a huge difference maker in the outcome. If not, Franklin expects either Ta’Quan Roberson or Christian Veilleux to step in at quarterback.

Ohio State coach Ryan Day brought up the Indiana game, including how he would’ve handled a nine overtime game, and Penn State’s defense during his weekly radio show on Thursday.
