Indiana threw five interceptions and lost to Wake Forest at home. Needless to say, the chances of the Hoosiers accepting insideĀ information from a Demon Deacons announcer were slim to none.

And as an internal investigation declared, Indiana was not in fact a part of the #WakeyLeaks scandal. It was reported earlier in the week that Wake Forest announcer Tommy Elrod provided game plan information about the Demon Deacons to several of the team’s opponents.

According to a release from the university, Elrod did not provide any Indiana coaches with any inside information as he did for other foes. IU got in touch with all but one past coach, all of which denied any involvement in the matter.

Even though they weren’t implicated in the claims, Indiana athletics director Fred Glass still provided the findings of his investigation to Wake Forest, which confirmed that the program was not guilty of any wrongdoing.

The Hoosiers played Wake Forest both in 2015 and 2016. TheĀ road team won each game.
