The #8 Michigan State Spartans (7-0) will have a big matchup versus the #6 Michigan Wolverines (7-0) at home. Michigan State will fight for the Paul Bunyan Trophy and a great position for the B1G East Division.

They will need several players to make an impact and contribute to the potential win. Michigan State may be without their senior backup quarterback Anthony Russo, who plead guilty to reckless driving on October 27th. It’s unclear if that will keep him out of the rivalry game.

Russo was not spotted in the early warmups for Michigan State. Freshman quarterback Hamp Fay will be the backup for today’s game against Michigan.

Russo was arrested for reckless driving hours after Michigan State’s 20-15 road win over Indiana. Russo has completed five-for-seven passes for 43 yards in his first season for Michigan State after transferring from Temple.
