Welcome to the big stage, young fella.

Michigan freshman wide receiver Andrel Anthony hadn’t done much entering Saturday’s showdown with Michigan State. In the Wolverines’ first 7 games, he ran 17 total routes and was only targeted one time.

In the first half alone on Saturday, Anthony caught 4 passes for 136 yards and 2 touchdowns, including a 93-yard touchdown reception in the first quarter.

Have a day.

Anthony was listed as a 3-star recruit by 247Sports out of high school and was the 13th-ranked wide receiver in the state of Michigan. He chose the Wolverines over some big names, including Penn State, Notre Dame and, ironically, Michigan State.

Michigan and Michigan State received a lot of hype heading into Saturday. So far, it’s living up to the billing. The Wolverines have the halftime lead, but as we know, nothing is a given with the Paul Bunyan Trophy on the line.

You can watch the second half on FOX.
