The B1G West has already produced some wild results this season, and things might get even wilder throughout November.

Early on, Iowa looked dominant and headed toward a strong season. Now, the Hawkeyes are out of first and no longer control their own destiny.

Instead, Minnesota – the same team that lost to Bowling Green on homecoming and down its top 2 running backs – is on top of the division to start November. P.J. Fleck’s Gophers are 6-2 (4-1 in the B1G) and can head to Indianapolis if they win out.

Minnesota’s remaining schedule remains plenty tough. It includes a road trip to Iowa and Kinnick Stadium and the season finale at home vs. Wisconsin. Paul Chryst’s Badgers – despite 2 conference losses – can control their own destiny by winning out with a win over Minnesota.

Coming out of Week 9, ESPN’s FPI has updated the odds to win the B1G West, and the rest of the season will be fun to watch. Minnesota has the best odds, but it is far from a sure thing.

Take a look:

  • Minnesota – 43.7%
  • Wisconsin – 33.1%
  • Iowa – 21.8%
  • Purdue – 1.4%
