ESPN’s FPI updates odds to win B1G East entering November

Heading into November, the division races inside the B1G are in full swing.
In the B1G West, things appear headed for another wild finish. Minnesota currently leads the pack but Wisconsin remains a threat after the Badgers pummeled Iowa in Week 9.
In the B1G East, things look much different. Even with Michigan State’s huge comeback win over Michigan, the outlook in the East remains heavily tilted towards Ohio State.
Over the weekend, the Buckeyes gritted out a tough win against a desperate and hungry Penn State squad. The wins by the Spartans and Buckeyes moved both teams to 5-0 in conference play, but the odds still are heavily in Ohio State’s favor.
According to ESPN’s FPI, Ryan Day’s squad has nearly a 75% chance to win the East and get back to Indianapolis. Michigan (4-1 in B1G play) and Michigan State are the only teams still in the running.
Have a look:
- Ohio State – 73.9%
- Michigan State – 15.0%
- Michigan – 11.1%
