Michigan has to gather itself after losing the Paul Bunyan Trophy to Michigan State, and shift its focus to Indiana. The matchup hasn’t given the Wolverines a lot of trouble throughout the years.

The Wolverines have a 59-10 record agains the Hoosiers all-time. However, last year’s game ended with Indiana on top 38-21, ending a 24 game losing streak for the Hoosiers.

The Wolverines dominated the Spartans early on, getting off to a 30-14 lead in the third quarter. Michigan was outscored 23-3 in the final two quarters and ended up losing 37-33.

Michigan’s run game got shut down by Michigan State. The Spartans limited Hassaan Haskins to 59 yards rushing and Blake Corum to just 45 yards rushing.

This could explain why Cade McNamara threw for more passing yards than usual. McNamara threw for 383 yards passing with two touchdowns and a late interception that won the game for Michigan State.

Freshman receiver Andrel Anthony also had a monster game for the Wolverines, bringing in six catches for 155 yards receiving and two scores.

Jim Harbaugh talked about how to move on from a loss like that, plus some key moments in the game that shifted the momentum for Michigan State, and more.

Here’s what he had to say at his press conference on Monday:
