We are already in Week 10 of the college football season and just one day away from the first College Football Playoff Rankings.
Everyone is already speculating what might happen when the first rankings come out. Some topics people have discussed are who is No. 2 behind Georgia, where the CFP Committee will rank Cincinnati, and how the Committee will rank the cluster of 1-loss teams.
In B1G country, it will be interesting to see where No. 5 Michigan State and No. 6 Ohio State land in the Committee’s eyes. Another topic of discussion that came up today is how the Committee will compare No. 6 Ohio State and No. 7 Oregon.
No. 7 Oregon defeated No. 6 Ohio State back in Week 2 in Columbus, 35-28. That gives the Ducks the head-to-head victory, though an argument could be made that the Buckeyes are trending in a much different direction than the Ducks.
The B1G Network crew discussed that exact scenario down below:
The initial @CFBPlayoff rankings come out Tuesday night.

No matter what the Committee decides, there will be arguments across the country, and the clamoring for expansion will only get louder.
No. 6 Ohio State is on the road to face Nebraska this weekend at noon ET on FOX. No. 7 Oregon goes up north to face rival Washington at 7:30 ET on ABC.
