6 B1G stars land on PFF’s Midseason All-Rookie team

The 2021 NFL season is approaching the midway point, and Pro Football Focus has unveiled its All-Rookie team at this point of the season.

The B1G saw some notable names come off the board early in the 2021 NFL Draft, and some of those players are featured. Most notably, both of Northwestern’s first-round picks – Rashawn Slater and Greg Newsome II – earned recognition for their starts.

Purdue’s Rondale Moore (second-round pick) and Illinois’ Nate Hobbs (fifth-round pick) were some of the players taken after the first round to be recognized.

Here is the full list of B1G players to be recognized:

    • Slot: Rondale Moore, Arizona (Purdue)
    • LT: Rashan Slater, LA Chargers (Northwestern)
    • Edge: Kwity Paye, Indianapolis (Michigan)
    • LB: Micah Parsons, Dallas (Penn State)
    • CB: Greg Newsome II, Cleveland (Northwestern)
    • Nickel: Nate Hobbs, Las Vegas (Illinois)
