Chris Childers, ex-Indiana State RB, scores first TD as a Hoosier

Chris Childers had a memorable moment in the first half, scoring his first touchdown as a Hoosier, and it came inside the Big House.
Childers’ path to IU has been an incredible one. He started off at Indiana State as an unrated member of the 2018 recruiting class. Childers spent 2 seasons with the Sycamores before transferring to Indiana.
After making his debut in the Outback Bowl vs. Ole Miss, Childers has seen action in every game this season and has been used as a reserve back. He had 5 carries for 15 yards in the first half against Michigan, punching in his first IU touchdown in the process:

That made it 10-7, but Michigan scored before the break to make it 17-7, Wolverines. Hopefully, Childers and the Hoosiers can make some plays and cut into that deficit in the second half.
