Changes expected to hit Scott Frost’s Nebraska staff following 2021 season

Scott Frost’s restructured contract was made official on Monday. However, you can expect some changes to his offensive staff in 2022 if they want to keep him long term.
According to ESPN’s Adam Rittenberg and Tom VanHaaren, sources have reportedly told them that these changes will be made after the 2021 season.
While Scott Frost will be back for #Huskers in 2022, Nebraska is expected to make several staff changes, most likely on offense, sources tell @TomVH and me.

What will these changes be? Only time will tell, but here are the numbers:
In 2020, Nebraska’s offense averaged 190 yards passing and 200 yards rushing per game. The Cornhuskers also had the second best rushing offense in the B1G that year. The Cornhuskers also completing 68.12 percent of their passes.
In 2021, Nebraska has flipped the numbers a little bit. Nebraska is averaging 264 yards passing and 194 yards rushing per game. The Cornhuskers currently have the fifth-best passing and rushing offense in the B1G in 2021, but rank 19th nationally in offensive yards per game.
Here’s what has been the killer for Nebraska this year. Red zone offense.
The Cornhuskers rank 106th in the nation in terms of red zone offense, scoring 77 percent of the time they get inside the 20-yard line.
It’ll be interesting to see who Nebraska decides to keep and let go in 2022.
