Rutgers is giving Indiana all kinds of fits.

Neither team had more than 200 yards of offense in the first half, but Indiana has spent much of the afternoon stubbing its own toe and Rutgers keeps capitalizing. The Hoosiers had 5 turnovers in the game’s first 35 minutes. The latest came on a muffed punt after stopping the Scarlet Knights’ first possession out of the break.

Wideout Ty Fryfogle couldn’t field the ball cleanly at his own 11-yard-line and the Scarlet Knights covered it up. On the next play, this happened:

This season has been one misstep after another for Indiana, which sits at 2-7. It has yet to win a game in Big Ten play and now has its 4th game of the year with at least 3 giveaways. On the other hand, Rutgers is hoping to move back to .500 on the season with a win. Doing so would get it just one win away from bowl eligibility. The Scarlet Knights haven’t been bowling since 2014, their first year in the Big Ten.

The second half can be seen on BTN.
