Michigan wide receiver Roman Wilson put the Wolverines on the board during Saturday’s game with Penn State, hauling in a 21-yard Cade McNamara pass to put Michigan up 7-3 over the Nittany Lions late in the 2nd quarter.

But Wilson wasn’t done.

On the first drive after the second half, Michigan took the kickoff and marched 75-yard in 9 plays, with McNamara finding Wilson again in the end zone with a 1-yard strike. The score put the Wolverines up 14-6.

Entering the game, Wilson had just one career touchdown. Through 7 games in 2021, the sophomore had 15 receptions for 185 yards, and his touchdowns against the Nittany Lions are his only of the season. The sophomore had a season-high 81 yards on 6 receptions during the Wolverines win over Wisconsin on Oct. 2.
