What a difference a week makes!

In Week 10, Ohio State downed Nebraska behind a monstrous record-setting performance by Jaxon Smith-Njigba. But despite his big day, the Buckeye offense slogged down at times on the road without Garrett Wilson.

After getting Wilson back in Week 11, Ohio State rattled off 59 points vs. Purdue, and Wilson was a big reason for that. He recorded 11 touches and finished with 177 yards and 4 touchdowns.

Even more remarkable, 3 of Wilson’s touchdowns came in the first half:

How big are those numbers? According to Ohio State on BTN, Wilson is the first Buckeye to record 3 receiving touchdowns and a rushing touchdown in the same game.

His 3 receiving touchdowns are tied with a number of players for second-most in a single game at Ohio State:

That’s definitely one way to make a return!
