It’s been four years since the tragic passing of Maryland offensive lineman Jordan McNair, and upon what would have been his senior day at Maryland Stadium, the Terrapins will be honoring his memory.

The Terps will be wearing ‘79’ helmet decals, Jordan’s number.

Along with the 25 senior players currently on the roster who will be honored, the program will be paying tribute to Jordan, who would have been a redshirt senior.

Maryland has their eyes set on getting into a bowl game and can log win number 6 at home if they can pull off an upset over No. 8 Michigan on Saturday at Capital One Field at Maryland Stadium.

The seniors on the Terps roster have never extended their season beyond the 12 scheduled games. But now, they are just a win away from pulling that off this season. Even with a loss against the Wolverines, another chance for the clincher is there next week when they travel to New Jersey to take on Rutgers.

The Terps and Wolverines will kickoff this afternoon at 2:30 PM.
