Dallas Cowboys playmaker Micah Parsons continues impressive rookie season with strip-sack of Pat Mahomes
Micah Parsons did not take long to prove he has what it takes to be a star in the NFL, and he’s flashing his potential again in Sunday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Dallas Cowboys selected Parsons at No. 12 overall in this year’s draft, and he has proven to be worth it. Entering Sunday’s game, he was already up to 58 total tackles with 6 sacks, 11 TFL, 15 QB hits, and a forced fumble. He’s added to that total vs. Kansas City.
In the first half of action, Parsons chased down QB Pat Mahomes and forced a turnover with a brilliant strip-sack. Dallas was unable to cash that in, but it was a crucial takeaway for the defense:

Parsons kept that rolling right along with his second sack of the game in the 3rd quarter. It gives him 8 on the year as Parsons continues to be used in a variety of ways with Dallas’ defense:

Parsons was already the leading sack-getter and 2nd-leading tackler for the Cowboys heading into the weekend. He’s looking good once again as his rookie tear continues.
