Jeff Brohm is starting to put his staff together in West Lafayette.

Purdue’s newest head coach has added eight members to his staff, including six assistant coaches. Several of those were members of his staff at Western Kentucky.

Brian Brohm, Tony Levine, Nick Holt, Reggie Johnson, Anthony Poindexter and Dale Williams will be heading to West Lafayette for the 2017 season as assitants. Two other staff members – Greg Brohm and Robert Sampson will be members of the support staff.

It’s unknown what roles Brohm’s assistant’s will have at this point, but Brian Brohm and Levine served as co-offensive coordinators at Western Kentucky and Holt was the defensive coordinator. Holt was also the interim head coach for the Hilltoppers in the Boca Raton Bowl.

Johnson was a defensive assistant and Williams was the offensive line coach under Brohm at Western Kentucky. Poindexter was the defensive coordinator at UConn for three seasons.

Brohm appears to have plenty of faith in most of the staff he had at Western Kentucky. That group helped the Hilltoppers win 31 games in three seasons and claim two C-USA titles.
