Thanksgiving celebrations are often the best. Amani Oruwariye carried on the tradition on Thursday.

The Detroit Lions hosted the Chicago Bears in this year’s Thanksgiving game — a battle of two teams that have struggled for a majority of the 2021 season. None of that matters during these holiday games, though.

Near the end of the second quarter, Oruwariye made a great play to intercept an Andy Dalton pass in the end zone. After making the big play, the former Penn State star celebrated by carving up a turkey and serving it to his teammates:

Another great Thanksgiving celebration.

That pick was Oruwariye’s fifth of the season. He entered the game with 30 tackles and 7 pass break-ups as well.

Detroit is searching for its first win of the season in the Thanksgiving game. The Bears entered the contest with a 3-7 record.
