It sounds like Nebraska and the Husker faithful are not the only ones to have a bad afternoon on Friday.

During the season finale against Iowa, Scott Frost and the Huskers blew another lead and dropped yet another one-possession game. It left the Huskers at 3-9 on the season, and it left Charles Barkley with a bad taste in his mouth.

Appearing on “The Match” – a golf showdown between Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka – Barkley told DeChambeau he would make a donation if the popular golfer could hit the fairway on one tee shot. DeChambeau made a comment at Barkley’s offer, wondering why it was so low.

Barkley blamed it on taking a loss due to Nebraska’s late-game blown lead:

“Shoutout Nebraska, way to give up that lead,” said Barkley. “Damn Nebraska. You were up when I left the hotel. What happened?”

What happened was a 19-0 4th quarter by the Hawkeyes as Kirk Ferentz’s squad stormed back for the win. It was the 7th straight win for Iowa in the series.
