With the conclusion of the regular season, all that stands between us and bowl season is Championship Weekend!

It has been a wild ride from start to finish with Rivalry Week proving to be the wildest of all in the B1G. With Michigan’s upset of Ohio State in The Game, followed by Minnesota taking down Wisconsin to reclaim Paul Bunyan’s Axe, it will be the Wolverines vs. Iowa for the B1G Championship. That game is set for Indianapolis next weekend.

Other significant results from Week 13 included Michigan State taking down Penn State, Maryland getting to 6 wins by beating Rutgers, and Purdue getting win No. 8 in 2021. That brings the tally of B1G teams that are bowl eligible up to 9.

That total number does not include teams to finish 5-7 (Illinois and Rutgers). Those 2 programs could be in line for a bowl game if there are not enough teams at 6-6 or better to fill all the bowl slots.

Here are the 9 bowl-eligible teams and their final records:

  • Michigan (11-1)
  • Iowa (10-2)
  • Ohio State (10-2)
  • Michigan State (10-2)
  • Minnesota (8-4)
  • Purdue (8-4)
  • Wisconsin (8-4)
  • Penn State (7-5)
  • Maryland (6-6)
