Tragedy struck a Michigan high school this week, and the Wolverines are taking the opportunity Saturday to honor that community.

The logo will represent Oxford High School and the lives lost in a deadly shooting on Tuesday:

“The shape is of Oxford’s ‘Block O’, meant to honor all victims, survivors, and community members,” Michigan announced in a release.

“The ‘TM’ and ’42’ pay tribute to football player Tate Myre. Tate, Hana St. Juliana, Madisyn Baldwin, and Justin Shilling, whose lives were senselessly lost this week, are represented by four blue hearts.”

Michigan also unveiled a look at the logo on the white uniform for Saturday:

Thoughts and prayers go out to the Oxford community as they continue to deal with the tragedy.
