Jamari Wheeler talks about returning to Penn State, this time as a Buckeye

Ohio State grad transfer guard Jamari Wheeler will return to Penn State for the first time as an opponent on Sunday.

The 6-foot-1, 170-pound player appeared in 127 games over 4 seasons with the Nittany Lions and has never missed a game in his college career.

Wheeler, who was selected to the B1G All-Defensive Team the last 2 seasons, recently discussed the emotions involved in coming back to Happy Valley and what drove him to remain in the B1G with Ohio State:

Wheeler’s 191 steals rank 6th in Penn State program history; he led the B1G in steals per game the last 2 seasons.

Ohio State (5-2) at Penn State (4-3) is slated for a 7:30 p.m. ET tipoff and will be televised on the B1G Network. Ohio State leads the all-time series 41-19 vs. Penn State.
