Any thought of Michigan having a quiet offseason should be dismissed.

If anything, Michigan’s offseason appears to be business as usual for Jim Harbaugh. He’s making high-profile appearances, landing blue-chip recruits and he’s hosting another National Signing Day event.

Yes, Michigan’s “Signing of the Stars” will continue in 2017. The Wolverines made that announcement on Saturday.

The event, which will be hosted by Michigan and The Players Tribune, will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 1 at the Crisler Center. Admission will be free and anyone can follow along on MGoBlue.com. Michigan’s early enrollees will be allowed to attend.

Last year’s celebrity-filled event was the first of its kind. The likes of Tom Brady, Derek Jeter and Desmond Howard were in attendance for the first Signing of the Stars.

Michigan hasn’t announced the specifics of the event yet.

The celebrity guest list will likely be revealed one by one in the coming days.
