Another B1G game has been canceled.

On Thursday, Northwestern released a statement that Saturday’s game against DePaul is off the books because of COVID-19 concerns. It’s the third B1G game to be called off, along with Ohio State-Kentucky and Penn State-VCU.

The positive tests have come from within the DePaul program, per the release. Northwestern says it is searching for options to find a new opponent in place of the Blue Demons. The Wildcats will release more information as it becomes available.

Northwestern is currently 7-2 on the season. The Wildcats were last in action on Sunday, Dec. 12, defeating NJIT 70-52. If there is no make-up game scheduled or a new opponent scheduled, Northwestern will be back in action on Dec. 20 against Illinois-Springfield.
