Milo Eifler is getting his first start in the NFL in a wild turn of events.
The rookie linebacker out of Illinois is getting the Sunday Night Football start for the Washington Football Team. Due to injuries and COVID-19, Eifler is thrust into the starting lineup despite not playing a single defensive snap so far this season.

Eifler appeared in 15 special teams snaps during a Week 14 loss to Dallas. His first career start now comes on the road against Dallas.
Eifler’s intro on Sunday Night Football was also an interesting part of his surprising start without the traditional video intro:

Eifler finished his two-year stay at Illinois with 90 tackles, 13.5 TFL, and 3 sacks. Regardless of the circumstances, it is cool to see Eifler get his first start in the NFL.
