Wisconsin gives nod of approval to South Carolina’s Duke Mayo Bowl celebration after last year’s trophy catastrophe

South Carolina had a little fun trolling Wisconsin with the Duke May Bowl trophy.
When the Badgers won the bowl last season, they ended up breaking the trophy while Graham Mertz was dancing with it.
This year, while the Gamecocks were celebrating, they made sure to be careful and ask the Badgers how they did.

South Carolina won the battle of the Carolina’s on Thursday after it beat North Carolina by 17.
The Gamecocks raced out to an 18-0 lead after the 1st quarter and didn’t let up. They took a 25-13 lead into halftime and only allowed the Tar Heels to score 8 points in the 2nd half.
South Carolina finished its season at 7-6, which should be considered a success since it’s only Shane Beamer’s 1st year on the job.
