Penn State’s offense is finally showing signs of life, waking up with a big touchdown in the second quarter vs. Arkansas.

After pinning the Razorbacks deep and forcing a quick punt, the Nittany Lions received great field position due to a nice return by Parker Washington. It set up Penn State’s drive on the Arkansas 42-yard line.

That drive lasted just one play as QB Sean Clifford delivered a brilliant throw to a wide-open KeAndre Lambert-Smith. The Razorbacks clearly lost track of Lambert-Smith as it turned out to be a simple pitch-and-catch with plenty of room for the 42-yard touchdown.

That score knotted it up at 7-all and Penn State appears to be finding a groove offensively. We will see if it turns out to be enough against Arkansas to finish the Outback Bowl.
