Former Wisconsin running back Loyal Crawford has found a new home.

Sunday morning, Crawford tweeted out that he has committed to Independence Community College in Kansas, which competes at the junior college level. The running back was dismissed from the Badgers football team in late August, just before the team’s season opener vs. Penn State.

Crawford was a 3-star member of Wisconsin’s 2021 recruiting class. The Eau Claire native was ranked as the No. 6 player out of Wisconsin and was listed as the No. 574 nationally, per the 247Sports composite rankings.

As a recruit, Crawford received 2 offers, picking Wisconsin over Michigan State. He had been committed to the Badgers since 2019 and stuck to his verbal pledge.

Crawford will still have all 4 years of eligibility to use during his collegiate career.
