It’s never too early to start looking ahead. Not long after the 2021 season ended on Monday night, the sportsbooks in Vegas started releasing some way-too-early lines for the 2022 national championship.
The usual suspects are at the top. Teams like Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Oklahoma and others are situated near the top of the betting lines. But it’s always interesting to see how an entire conference stacks up.
Of the 14 teams from the B1G, 13 were included in BetOnline’s 2022 national title odds. Sorry, Rutgers, despite a postseason appearance this, it didn’t receive a mention.
Here’s a look at every B1G team’s odds for the 2022 national title:
- Ohio State: +700
- Michigan: +1200
- Wisconsin: +3300
- Michigan State: +4000
- Iowa: +6600
- Penn State: +6600
- Maryland: +15000
- Nebraska: +15000
- Purdue: +20000
- Indiana: +25000
- Northwestern: +30000
- Illinois: +50000
- Minnesota: +50000
Which team do you believe gets the best value? Which team has the worst?
It’s always good to see these for some preseason debate and bickering.
