If you enjoy decoding secret messages, then Ohio State defensive end Zach Harrison appears to have one for you. And it could come as great news for the Buckeyes heading into the 2022 season.
Harrison had an interesting Instagram post this week, which might hint at a return to Columbus for one more season. The picture was of himself on an Ohio State game day with the caption “9/3/22.”
Coincidentally, that happens to be the date of the first game Ohio State will play in 2022. The Buckeyes will host Notre Dame in its season opener on that Saturday.

Harrison ended the 2021 season with 33 tackles, 7 for loss and 3 sacks. He was also credited with 4 pass break-ups, 2 quarterback hurries and 2 forced fumbles. He played a critical role along Ohio State’s defensive line during an 11-2 campaign.
Harrison’s return would be a huge boost for the Buckeyes heading into the 2022 season. He would give new defensive coordinator Jim Knowles talent and experience along the defensive front.
We’ll see if Harrison makes an official announcement sometime soon.
