Jake Rudock only spent one year in Ann Arbor, but it became a home.

Next week, the former Wolverines quarterback will return to his old stomping grounds for Michigan’s Signing of the Stars.

Michigan made that announcement on Thursday ahead of next week’s National Signing Day event:

Rudock’s one year at Michigan was a memorable one. The Iowa graduate transfer led Michigan to 10 wins and a Citrus Bowl victory. He completed 64 percent of his passes and thew for 3,017 yards in 2015.

He was selected by the Detroit Lions in the sixth round of the 2016 NFL draft.

Signing of the Stars will take place next Wednesday at the Crisler Center from noon to 2 p.m. Doors will open at 11 a.m. The event can be streamed on MGoBlue.com.
