Kansas City pulled out all the maneuvers on Sunday night. Digging into the bag of tricks, Andy Reid dialed up a play that resulted in offensive lineman Nick Allegretti hauling in a touchdown pass.

In the third quarter of Sunday’s AFC Wild Card round of the NFL Playoffs, the Chiefs owned a 21-7 advantage on the Pittsburgh Steelers. Knocking on the door of the goal line, Patrick Mahomes rolled out and found a wide open Allegretti for a short touchdown pass.

The former Illinois standout lineman gave the Chiefs a 28-7 advantage, essentially putting the game out of reach. Below are the videos from the big man touchdown:

Not often do you see an offensive lineman score a touchdown. It’s even more rare in a playoff game, but Allegretti was able to haul in the pass to put Kansas City ahead by 21 points.

The Chiefs went on to defeat the Steelers 42-21. We’ll see if Reid dials up any more touchdown passes designed for Allegretti next week.
