Remember how there isn’t supposed to be any defense in the Pro Bowl? Kirk Cousins didn’t get that memo.

Yeah, the former Michigan State quarterback delivered arguably the defensive highlight of the night.

Late in the Pro Bowl, Cousins threw an interception. After a lateral, Aqib Talib appeared to be heading for six when all of the sudden, Cousins appeared out of nowhere.

He even forced a fumble:

Cousins didn’t get the victory, but he did have a memorable hustle play in the all-star game. So why did he make the 60-yard dash just to make a tackle?

“It’s because I want to win, man,” Cousins said to ESPN after the game.

Cousins also said he wasn’t worried about getting injured heading into the biggest free-agent summer of his career.

Maybe Cousins’ next offseason highlight will be signing a mega-contract to make him one of the highest-paid players in the NFL.
