A certain Ohio State tight end is coming back for his final year of eligibility.
Tight end Mitch Rossi is using the extra year of eligibility that athletes received from the NCAA after the 2020 season to play for the Buckeyes for one last season according to Dan Hope of Eleven Warriors.
Rossi originally joined the team as a walk-0n in 2017. He’s played in 32 games for the Buckeyes while he’s been there. The past 2 seasons, Rossi has spent his time on special teams and hasn’t missed a game. Hope tweeted about the news on Friday from his personal account.
