Robbie Gould remains perfect in postseason play. Next weekend, that will be put to the test in the NFC Championship Game.
Gould delivered a walk-off winner Saturday night as his San Francisco 49ers pulled off the upset win over top-seed Green Bay at Lambeau Field. San Francisco trailed most of the game but blocked a punt in the fourth quarter that was returned for a touchdown. Gould’s extra point tied the game at 10. The 49ers got the ball back with 3:20 left, still tied 10-10.
San Francisco drove to the Green Bay 27-yard line and used its final timeout with 4 seconds left, setting up Gould for a 45-yard field goal.
