A former Nebraska linebacker has found a new home in the SEC.

Per 247Sports, ex-Husker linebacker Jackson Hannah has committed to Tennessee. He will be a preferred walk-on with the Volunteers.

Hannah was at Nebraska for three seasons before hitting the NCAA transfer portal. The linebacker will still have three years of eligibility to use at Tennessee thanks to a redshirt year and the COVID waiver from the NCAA.

Last season, Hannah appeared in all 12 games for the Huskers. Most of his playing time came on special teams.

Hannah was credited with 1 tackle during Nebraska’s 3-9 year in 2021. He did not play in 2019 or 2020.

Per 247Sports, Hannah is a former Top 500 prospect and was a 3-star recruit out of high school.
