There’s a chance that Ohio State guard Jamari Wheeler misses a second game this week.

Buckeyes assistant coach Ryan Pedon said that the starting guard will be a game-time decision for Sunday’s Top 25 showdown between No. 16 Ohio State and No. 6 Purdue in West Lafayette, per Eleven Warriors. Tip-off is set for 12 p.m. ET on CBS.

Wheeler missed Ohio State’s road contest against Minnesota on Thursday due to a foot injury, but the Buckeyes were still able to get a key victory in Minneapolis by a final score of 75-64. OSU is currently on a 3-game winning streak.

Wheeler has started in all 16 games he’s played this season. Thursday’s game against the Golden Gophers was the first contest he’s missed this year.

In 16 games, Wheeler is logging just under 30 minutes and is averaging 7.1 points, 3.8 assists and 3.4 rebounds per game. On the defensive end, the guard is averaging more than 1.5 steals per game.

Pedon is hopeful that Wheeler will return to the floor on Sunday.
