What Ohio State head coach Ryan Day said in his first presser since Rose Bowl

It’s been nearly a month since Ohio State head coach Ryan Day last met with reporters, but on Monday, the leader of the Buckeyes spoke with reporters as the team prepares for National Signing Day, welcomes in new staff members and prepares for 2022 spring ball.

Day talked about a number of topics on Monday, providing an all-around look at the Buckeyes in the offseason.

He spoke on defensive returners Jerron Cage, Teradja Mitchell and Palaie Gaotoete all coming back for the 2022 season, as well as Sevyn Banks moving on from the program.

Day also talked about new defensive coordinator Jim Knowles, other staff hires and a myriad of other topics. Here were some of the biggest talking points for the Ohio State head coach on Monday:
